3 of the Most Beautiful Age of Sigmar Miniature Armies

Warhammer Age of Sigma is one of the top choices for players who love a tabletop miniature war game, as it packs so much fantasy and simulation that would keep you wanting more. However, many find it hard to select the right army, especially when just getting into the game.

When you consider that they are at least 24 options to chose from, you certainly need guidance, or would get it wrong. For starters, you can’t go wrong with selecting Stormcast Eternals, Seraphon or the Disciples of Tzeentch.

Stormcast Eternals

The Stormcast Eternals are one of the most complete armies in the game that can adapt to various styles of play. As immortal warriors from Azyr, Stormcast Eternals wild the holy power of the storm to your advantage. The army consists of the souls of mortals who lived a just and true life, and upon death, are called to Azyr to serve among the armies of the God-Kin.

Basically, this army favours a hammer and anvil style of play, with the idea being to use your tough defensive line to resist the enemy while your punisher unit attack from their flank or rear side.

Seraphon

The seraphon army basically offers you two ways to play, either through melee heavy or outright heavy magic. They are known for their spellcasting prowess and are probably the best at it when you except the Tzeentch.

Filled with lizards and dinosaur unit, they are a force to reckon with in the tournament realm and does not disappoint when it comes to delivering expectations.

Disciples of Tzeentch

Outrightly the masters and commanders of magic and chaos in the game, this faction has the best magic abilities that can give or an edge as a player. Across the whole Warhammer lore, their magical ability is only matched by the seraphon, who still falls short in the end.

One of the most fascinating mechanisms when using the disciples of Tzeentch is the fate dice. Basically, at the beginning of the game, you would roll 9 dice to be set aside. As the game goes on, you are allowed to replace rolls at any time with the already set-aside dice on a per turn basis. This allows you to manipulate the different fate outcomes on the battlefield, giving you an amazing edge over opponents.

How to choose the right army?

Choosing a war hammer army in the Age of Sigma edition is all about picking what works best for you, you just have to buy your army on a good store. Go for an army that would provide your desired entertainment and game longevity, however, they should also possess the basic war asthetics that you prefer.
